1. Accepting these terms
By using Unhinged Recipes, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What the app provides
Unhinged Recipes provides entertainment-focused recipe discovery, AI-assisted recipe generation, cooking tools, saved content and related features. Features may change as the service develops.
3. Food safety and dietary disclaimer
The service does not provide medical, nutritional or allergy advice. Do not rely on it to determine whether food is safe for a medical condition, allergy, pregnancy, infant, child or vulnerable person. When uncertain, seek advice from an appropriate qualified professional.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for access to your device and account. You must not misuse another person’s account, attempt to bypass security, interfere with the service or use it unlawfully.
5. Subscriptions and purchases
Paid subscriptions, pricing, free trials and renewal periods are shown before purchase. Purchases made in the iOS app are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple’s payment terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through Apple before renewal. Deleting the app or your Unhinged Recipes account does not cancel an Apple subscription.
Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple in accordance with its policies and applicable law.
6. User content
You may add ingredients, notes, photos and other content. You retain ownership of your content, but give us permission to process it only as needed to operate, secure and improve the features you request. Do not upload unlawful content or content that infringes another person’s rights.
7. AI-generated content
AI output is probabilistic and may be inaccurate, incomplete, repetitive or inappropriate. You must review every generated recipe before use. We do not promise that generated content is unique, suitable, available or correct.
8. Intellectual property
The Unhinged Recipes name, app design, artwork, original recipes, text and software are protected by intellectual property laws. These terms give you a personal, limited, non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership to you.
9. Availability
We aim to keep the service available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may be suspended for maintenance, security, provider outages or changes to the service.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by reliance on unchecked recipes, unsafe handling, allergens, third-party services, device loss, local data loss or use contrary to these terms.
11. Ending use
You may stop using the service at any time. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law or respond to serious misuse.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without removing any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
